What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
